MISSION
The Youth Empowerment Society was founded to bring organizations together nationwide that are dedicated to changing the lives of youth through extracurricular activities. Y.E.S and its members are focused on quality low cost programs that provide communities with the tools to help their youth develop key life skills.
Our
HISTORY
The Youth Empowerment Society was founded by drill team and percussion veterans whom saw a need for better low cost, FUN organized programing for inner city teams. In 2017 they decided it was time to start their journey.

Founding President Sunni Ali Pasha enlisted the talents of Vincent Smith , Kyneith Lamb-Whitest, Desiree Davis, Gregory Macon, Terron McClendon, Tawanda Hardy, and Latoya Dunston to bring his vision to life.
In our first season, we hosted (4) contest. These events proved that we could provide competitions that would be Fun and Competitive, while engaging our youth to do, and be better in their communities.

Our first initiative program was to provide a meal to EVERY performer that participated in our events. This program was started to ensure that each performer had access to a hot meal and beverage during the extensive day of competition. We are proud to continue this program each season with donations from local businesses such as Wawa, Outback Steakhouse, ShopRite and many other.
​
Today we are proud to say that we are in our 5th Season of Competition, and we will continue to WORK HARD and BE INNOVATIVE while Building and Expanding the reach of Urban Community Drill Teams and Percussion Units.
​
We have held contest in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware. This season we plan to add Virginia and New York to our travel cities.

Y.E.S is always looking for individuals to make our association better. We need Volunteers to help our events run smoothly, we need Professional Vendors to provide services throughout the season and last but not less, Sponsors to financially assist us with bringing our vision to life.
